 WHAT is HarvFest? 

HarvFest is a one-day festival celebrating local food, farming, and history. Clarke County's rich agricultural and historical heritage will be showcased via local food and drink vendors, farming demonstrations, and historic tours and displays. HarvFest is hosted by and benefits The Clermont Foundation and Clarke County Parks and Recreation.

WHERE is HarvFest? 

HarvFest will be held at the historic Clermont Farm just east of Berryville on business Route 7. Clermont was surveyed by George Washington in 1750 and currently sits on 360 rolling acres owned by the Virginia Dept. of Historic Resources and managed by a local trust. Clermont is a working cattle and sheep farm.

WHEN is HarvFest? 

HarvFest is is Saturday, June 18, 2011, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

WHY HarvFest? 

Clarke County has a rich heritage of farming and history that continues to this day. The movement toward eating local food, practicing sustainable agriculture, and connecting the producer to the consumer is HAPPENING and HarvFest will bring this education and celebration to the public, prepared cuisine, entertainment, and educational activities.

WHO at HarvFest?

Local food and drink producers - farmers, gardeners, cooks, vintners,
cider and beer-brewers - CSAs, mobile food carts, restaurants, farming
operations, relevant non-profits such as 4-H clubs, the Farm Bureau, Master
Gardeners, etc. are invited as vendors and exhibitors. Musical
entertainment, children's events, tours, hay wagon rides, and
demonstrations will round out the activities.

HarvFest will appeal to foodies and farmers, families looking for a fun,
educational way to spend the day, and locals and tourists wanting to enjoy
a beautiful place with great food, drink, and entertainment.

Admission is $5 per person, kids under 12 free. Vendor fee is $50 per 15'
x 20' booth space.
